Outdoor Recreation in Community Contexts

This course examines outdoor recreation management through community contexts. Emphasis is placed on how outdoor recreation supports well-being, inclusion, and connection to place, while exploring leadership, risk management, group dynamics, and decision-making. Students consider management challenges related to access, equity, sustainability, and community-based outdoor recreation experiences. Open to non-majors.
