COMP 5573
High Performance and Parallel Computing
This course will examine contemporary tools, methodologies, and strategies fundamental to modern parallel problem-solving. The focus will be on software resources, but will also examine associated hardware architectures employed to achieve parallelism in computationally intensive tasks, with students solving real-world problems on existing parallel machines. Students will read recent research publications and participate in a significant parallel project implementation.
