In this course, students will be introduced to the conceptual design process and conventions for graphic representation and model building. The course builds on concepts of form and space learned in previous courses with an emphasis on issues of site, program, and structure. It is also meant to prepare students for more advanced issues related to architectural design in future studios, such as materials, construction, and context.
