Technologies of Representation 4: Computation & Generative Design
As a part of this larger sequence on the technologies of architectural representation, this course examines computational methods for architectural design, including parametric modeling and generative design techniques. Students develop an understanding of rule-based strategies that enable responsive and data-informed design solutions. Through structured explorations, the course provides a foundation in scripting and visual programming, allowing students to engage with emergent design methodologies that extend beyond conventional modeling approaches.
