Teaching Online in a Global Context

This course addresses the skills and knowledge needed as future instructors teaching English online in multiple contexts. Both the possibilities and limitations of online instruction will be addressed. The advantages, of course, include being able to reach a wider audience of learners than previously possible. However, we are still faced with limitations of technology, having to find new ways to engage students, and socio-economic differences in access to technology. Students will develop an online learning module.
