ECON 270E

The Economics of Gender and Discrimination

3 credits · Graduate

This course examines the economics of gender and discrimination through three disciplinary lenses: labor economics, behavioral economics, and development economics. Throughout the course, students engage with frontier research on gender and discrimination, including guest lectures from researchers and recent job market candidates. Readings draw on canonical theoretical models as well as recent empirical work using experiments, quasi-experiments, and structural estimation.
