Transportation Analytics
Analytics for the design and operation of modern transportation systems. Topics include probabilistic and spatial modeling, spatial queueing, demand estimation, network optimization and equilibrium, congestion pricing, vehicle routing, time-space networks, revenue management, dynamic matching, and market design. Applications span public transit, airlines, navigation services, ridesharing platforms, micromobility, logistics, autonomous mobility and robotaxi platforms, and sustainable transportation (electrification). Students apply data analytics and optimization methods to transportation decision-making and complete a team-based course project.
