Hanja, Sino-Korean Characters

This course aims to provide students with an elementary familiarity and understanding of Hanja, also known as Sino-Korean Characters. Students will learn the 250 most basic Chinese characters and their applications in Korea’s everyday linguistic context. The course emphasizes writing exercises and helps students grasp the forms, meanings, and sounds of individual characters and compounds.
