Vocal Performance Instruction

Private instruction for singers who participate in the University Chorus (Music 144) or University Chamber Chorus (Music 145). Placement is determined by audition and is made at the discretion of the coordinator and supervisor. Students will receive 5 hours of private lessons with department faculty on fundamental vocal technique, stage technique, and musical and dramatic interpretation. Repertoire will be chosen in consultation with the faculty instructor. Students will perform in a solo public recital or jury each semester of enrollment. Students must re-audition each term to continue in the course.
