Research Design and Praxis in Ethnomusicology

Instruction in designing a doctoral research project, writing a dissertation prospectus, and formulating a grant proposal. The course will also explore possibilities of mobilizing scholarship beyond traditional academic avenues. Students will normally take this course one semester prior to presenting the prospectus for their doctoral dissertation.
