From Code to Carbon: Leading a Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Revolution
The rapid growth of digital infrastructure—data centers, fiber networks, and cloud platforms—has fueled global innovation but also accelerated energy use, carbon emissions, geographical expansion and urgency for sustainability. As the world transitions to a carbon-conscious economy, leadership in digital infrastructure demands new strategies, ethics, and management approaches. This is a leadership course for current and future digital infrastructure leaders, organized around the STEWARD leadership framework, which addresses recurring leadership failures in fast-scaling, capital-intensive systems. The course culminates in a Leadership Strategy Blueprint, in which students apply the framework to a real digital infrastructure context.
