Introduction to public health including history, structure and services, core competencies and the contemporary social and political forces that influence population health. Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week Restrictions: Open to PHTH and EDSD majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH, CMTY, EDSD, MSCI and PHTH majors until date specified in Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): HLSC 1F90 Cross-Listing(s): HLSC 2P98 Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in HLSC 3P98.
