Introduction to the theory of normed linear spaces, fixed-point theorems, Stone-Weierstrass approximation on metric spaces and preliminary applications on sequence spaces. Course Format: Lectures, lab, 4 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): MATH 2P12 and MATH 3P03 or Permission of the Instructor Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
