Plants in their Environment

An integration of physiological and ecological aspects of plant adaptation to different environments. Topics include interactions between plants and other organisms (e.g., bacterial and fungal symbionts, animal pollinators, herbivores) as well as the influence of abiotic stressors on plant growth and distribution. The ecological consequences and possible applications of such interactions are discussed. Prerequisite(s): Biology 313; and 3 units from Biology 371 or Plant Biology 403.
