Implementing Biomedical Device and Technology Innovation

The strategy development and business planning involved in the implementation of biomedical device and technology innovation following the Biodesign Process. Topics may include regulatory strategies, intellectual property protection, clinical trials, and commercialization considerations. The course concentrates on both existing case studies and new venture ideas. Prerequisite(s): Biomedical Engineering 301 or Biomedical Engineering 308, Fourth- or fifth-year standing in Schulich School of Engineering.
