Study of computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other forms of malicious software. Countermeasures to malicious software. Legal and ethical issues, and some general computer and network security issues. Prerequisite(s): Computer Science 313 and 457 and consent of the Department. Antirequisite(s): Credit for Computer Science 527 and 627 will not be allowed.
