Topics in information security, possibly including security management, case studies, best practices, emerging threats, research frontiers. Includes a literature review and survey and a proposal writing component. Antirequisite(s): Credit for both Computer Science 696 and 699 will not be allowed. Notes: This course is intended to help students identify a project topic for Computer Science 698 and meets for one and one-half hours per week during the Fall and Winter terms.
