Introduction to Scenography

An introduction to performance design and the disciplines within it: scenery, props, lighting, costumes and sound. Includes a study of the history of theatre design and space. Topics regarding contemporary notions of scenography will be explored, for example performance art, ritual, etc. Antirequisite(s): Credit for Drama 225 and 222 will not be allowed.
