Students will deepen their theoretical understanding and pedagogical knowledge in working with learners whose first language is one other than English from kindergarten to grade 12. Prerequisite(s): Education 540. Antirequisite(s): Credit for Education 568 and any of 535.02 (Specialization II Elementary English Language Learners), 535.05 (Specialization II Elementary French), 535.10 (Specialization II Elementary Second Languages), 535.14 (Specialization II Secondary French Specialization) or 535.18 (Specialization II Secondary Second Languages) will not be allowed.
