Literature and Science

Study of the relationship between literature and science with respect to a special topic or theoretical approach. Course may cover advanced topics in science fiction such as Cyberpunk or Steampunk; how philosophies of science and technology pertain to literature; or interdisciplinary inquiry into literary texts using, for instance, neuroscience, ecology, and physics. Prerequisite(s): 45 units including 3 units of courses labelled English at 300 level or above.
