Science of Earth's climate system. Content includes how the Earth is influenced by the Sun, cycles and planetary motion, the composition of our atmosphere, the carbon cycle, and global circulation patterns in our oceans and atmosphere, including an exploration of Earth's climate history. Also explores current climate related phenomena (e.g. wildfires, atmospheric rivers, permafrost degradation) and impacts of climate change on both the environment and society, today and in the near future.
