Analytic Number Theory: students will learn tools to aid in the study of the average behaviour of arithmetic functions, including the use of zeta functions, to prove results about the distribution of prime numbers. Prerequisite(s): Admission to a graduate program in Mathematics and Statistics or consent of the Department.
