Application of basic concepts from economics to examination of health and health care policy issues, such as why we have the kind of health-care system we have, various aspects of health care reform, promotion of health, and evaluation of interventions. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Community Health Sciences graduate program. Antirequisite(s): Credit for Community Health Sciences 661 and either Medical Science 679 or Economics 679 will not be allowed.
