Psychology of Gender

An analysis of psychological theory and research on gender situated within the interdisciplinary field of gender studies. Topics include the meaning of gender, psychological development and gender, and gender and interpersonal relationships. Prerequisite(s): Psychology 300, 301; and 3 units from Psychology 345, 351, 352; and admission to the Psychology major or Honours program. Antirequisite(s): Credit for Psychology 439 and 347 will not be allowed. Credit for more than 30 units (Majors) or 36 units (Honours) of Psychology at the 400 or 500 level will not be allowed.
