Procedures and methods of investment analysis. Stock and bond markets. Government regulation of securities markets. Valuation of common stocks and fixed income securities. Options, warrants, convertibles and commodities.
Prerequisites & course information
Precludes additional credit for ECON 4052 . Prerequisite(s): BUSI 2501 or BUSI 2505 (with a grade of C+ or higher in each), and STAT 2601 or STAT 2559 , and ECON 1001 and ECON 1002 , and MATH 1009 or MATH 1052 (with a grade of C- or higher in each). Lecture three hours a week.
