History of Literary Theory
Introduction to ideas about literature, aesthetics, authorship, and readership as these have circulated in periods before the twentieth century.
Prerequisites & course information
Precludes additional credit for ENGL 3000 (no longer offered), and ENGL 3001 (no longer offered). Prerequisite(s): third-year standing or permission of the department. Lectures three hours a week.
