Theory and practice of electronic music creation, focusing on audio editing, synthesis, sampling, beat-making, signal processing, and sound design, using a variety of professional-grade software packages.
Prerequisites & course information
Precludes additional credit for MUSI 2603 (no longer offered). Prerequisite(s): MUSI 2607 and enrolment in the BMus or BA Music program, or permission of the instructor. Lectures three hours a week, plus individual studio time.
