Introduction to Latin American History

This course examines key developments of Latin American Civilizations. Students will learn about global, international, and intercultural aspects of Latin American History. The course incorporates the Western canon as an object of study as it pertains to this region and the historical periods covered. It analyzes cultural factors such as religion, art, music, literature, and philosophy.
