Drawing: Color

Drawing into Color is an exploration of contemporary and art historical approaches to drawing through the use of color pencil, pen and ink, conte or pastels. The class will cover a wide breadth of subjects including figure, landscape, and still life with an emphasis on individual expression, creativity, and a visual understanding of how to define nature in it's many forms. Demonstrations and lectures on artists will be given throughout the course when needed. Your work will culminate in a portfolio of varied studies as well as finished and detailed work.
