IPOL 3382
For Pol of ME states
This course examines the foreign policies of Middle Eastern states in terms of output and the dynamics that shape them. This is done against the background of a consideration of the domestic, regional and international environments. It also takes into account – and reflects on – the various tools and approaches that are suggested in the disciplines of International Relations and Foreign Policy Analysis. The purpose of this course is to develop comparative understanding – empirical, historical and theoretical – of the patterns, processes and dynamics that shape these foreign policies.
