IPOL 4490
World Politics Lab I
The Lab will catalyze faculty-student research collaboration through coursework and project-based learning. It will develop students’ ability to conceive, conduct, analyze, refine, and present original research. Students will work in small groups to investigate a specific theme in world politics, letting students master debates and techniques to situate their contributions. The course will help scaffold research engagement from a foundation (learning basic research techniques) to the intermediate level (designing and executing projects) to a real-world experience (presenting at conferences and publishing in real journals).
