MHUM 1005
Med, Law, Ethics, End of Life
What does it mean to die? What does the end of life look like and who gets to decide? As medical technology encroaches on the thin line between life and death these questions become harder to answer. This course will explore the controversial and challenging questions that arise at the end of life by reviewing the legal, ethical, and medical literature, participating in reflective discussions, and examining real life clinical cases.
