Advanced Spanish for Business

SPANISH 209: ADVANCED SPANISH FOR BUSINESS This course aims to give the advanced students of Spanish a solid foundation in business vocabulary, basic business and cultural concepts, and intensive situational practice that will prepare them to function competently in today's Spanish-speaking business environment. No previous knowledge of business is required. This course serves as preparatory course to obtain the Cámara de Comercio de Madrid ́s Certificado Básico de Español de los Negocios and for the Instituto Cervantes ́s Diploma de Español Lengua Extranjera (DELE) level B2. Prerequisites: (i) Advanced Spanish II with a minimum grade of B+ or Instructor's Permission (ii) Highly Recommended: B-1 level following the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages (CEFR). 1
