Graphic Novels of LATAM

This seminar will examine a series of graphic novels from various Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico, with an eye to comprehending how the combination of images and verbal texts inquire into social issues. Students must be able to understand spoken Spanish and read it, but non-Spanish majors will be permitted to speak and write in English. Open to undergraduate and master's students.
