Corporate Sustainability and ESG Reporting

Students explore the demand for corporate sustainability, long-term value drivers, the materiality of sustainability issues, major reporting frameworks and requirements, and the quality of ESG disclosure. Through assignments, readings, lectures, and discussions, students learn to critically analyze reports, assess transparency, and understand current trends. By course end, they’ll be equipped to evaluate and make recommendations to enhance corporate sustainability, and will have gained skills in critical analysis and public perception of sustainability disclosures. Prerequisites: ACCT 151
