Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Diseases
In this course, we will explore the causes and consequences of infectious disease at multiple scales—from whole organisms to entire ecosystems. By evaluating primary literature, leveraging theoretical models, and considering experimental design, we will aim to apply evolutionary and ecological understanding to the epidemics of the past, present, and future. Prerequisites: BIOS 044 and BIOS 045 Attribute/Distribution: CC, NS
