Health Data Science I: Inference

This course provides a rigorous introduction to the theory and practice of statistical inference. Students develop fluency in both frequentist and Bayesian approaches, with emphasis on the mathematical foundations that underlie modern health data analysis. The course prepares students for subsequent study of regression methods and advanced statistical modeling in health data science. Prerequisites: MATH 052 and MATH 043 and BSTA 030
