BSTA 133
Health Data Science II: Regression
This course provides an introduction to generalized linear models as applied to health data. Topics covered include models for binary data, models for nominal and ordinal data, models for count data, quasi-likelihood methods, and Bayesian generalized linear models. The course will illustrate these concepts using data from the health context. In addition to traditional methods of learning, computing will be a significant component of the course, ensuring students acquire the skills to both formulate and answer pressing questions in population. Prerequisites: BSTA 132
