School Counseling II

3 Credits

Emphasis on the social and cultural context of school counseling. Includes ethical, legal, and cultural issues in the administration and interpretation of psychological tests used in K-12 settings. Focus on a special topic such as school violence or substance abuse prevention, school and community interaction, and the social and cultural context of school counseling, etc. The course will also include observations in schools. Prerequisites: CPSY 445
