ECE 402
Advanced Electromagnetics
This course introduces electromagnetic fields from the engineering perspective, aiming at practical applications in the near-field area. Typical topics include vector analysis, electric fields, steady and time-varying magnetic fields, and electromagnetic material properties. The near-field application examples in wireless power transmission will be explained through the derivation in both magnetic and electric fields resonance. The numerical simulation method and software tools for electromagnetic fields analysis will also be introduced in this course. Prerequisites: ECE 202 and ECE 203
