Characterization of mobile radio channels. Wireless information transmission: modulation/demodulation, equalization, diversity combining, coding/decoding, multiple access methods. Overview of cellular concepts and wireless networking. This course, a version of ECE 341 for graduate students, requires research projects and advanced assignments. Credit will not be given for both ECE 341 and ECE 441 . Prerequisites: ECE 342 or ECE 342
