Modernism

This seminar will explore topics in literary modernism, including the formal innovations, political implications, historical configurations, and critical and theoretical approaches to the literatures of the early twentieth century. Topics may be organized around national literatures or trans-national formations. Topics might include Modernism and Mourning; Transatlantic Modernism; The Harlem Renaissance; Modernism and Social Justice. Repeat Status: Course may be repeated.
