Application of research techniques to a team-based project in materials science and engineering selected in consultation with the faculty and advised by at least one faculty member in Materials Science and Engineering. Thesis writing in consultation with faculty advisor and mentors. Preceded by MAT 340 . Department permission required. Prerequisites: MAT 340
