Writing Anthropology

asks what it means to write compelling anthropology. Open to senior students in any program, the seminar proceeds through attentive reading of sample ethnographic books and articles, anthropological essays, and experimental anthropological writing. In addition to interpretation and analysis, students will be given opportunities to try their own hands at writing anthropology.
