5.46
NMR Spectroscopy and Organic Structure Determination
Develops the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy skills necessary to solve the structures of organic molecules. Covers basic NMR experiments and demonstrates how to apply them. Discusses the chemical shift assignment strategies for known compounds, approaches to solving unknown structures, and best practice for chemistry publications and patents. Examples in organic and inorganic chemistry, polymer science, and biochemistry presented.
