Supervised guidance of a research paper from draft to pre-publication. Through in-class presentations and discussion, peer input/review, and revision, students create a 1000-word summary for scientists, and a full research paper on an existing UROP. Papers with completed projects may be uploaded to arXiv. Instruction and practice in oral and written communication provided. Students taking 8.THT must also enroll in 8.THU to receive CI-M credit. Limited to 10.
