Theory and practice of digital image processing. Topics include fundamentals of visual perception, image formation, representation, and encoding, compression, morphological processing, harmonic analysis, neural networks, feature detection, segmentation, and pattern classification. ***Prerequisite: CS 340, MATH 110, and MATH 122.***
