Computer Vision

Theory and practice of digital image processing. Topics include fundamentals of visual perception, image formation, representation, and encoding, compression, morphological processing, harmonic analysis, neural networks, feature detection, segmentation, and pattern classification. Graduate students will review and apply computer vision literature toward a research project.
