Internship in Data Science

Students will register first in DATA 041 and move up sequentially through DATA 044. Full-time, supervised work experience in an approved industry, government, or research setting. Course is graded as Pass/Fail, based on employer evaluations, written reports, and discussions with the course instructor, as assessed by faculty in Mathematics and Statistics or Computer Science. Students may register in consecutive terms (up to four) to complete a 12- or 16-month internship experience. ***Prerequisite: DATA 043.*** *Note: Restricted to students in the Data Science Internship program.*
