Geochemistry of uranium; geological characteristics and genesis of various types of uranium deposits, with an emphasis on the unconformity-related uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin. ***Prerequisite: ESC 307, ESC 313, ESC 314, ESC 315, and ESC 353, or must obtain permission of the instructor to register for the course.*** *Note: Students may receive credit for one of ESC 477, GEOL 477, or GEOL 490AM.*
